Meet the Cowboy Midstream Team

The team at Cowboy Midstream are experts in operations and customer service and understand the needs of their customers.  Meet the people behind the company.

Gregg Werger

Mr. Gregg Werger is a graduate of the University of Wyoming in Laramie. He started his business career in Denver, Colorado with Getty Trading and Transportation.

At Getty, Gregg was responsible for a multitude of pipeline projects in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota and California.  Texaco Trading and Transportation acquired Getty and eventually merged all downstream assets with Shell to form Equilon.

During these transitions, Gregg relocated to Houston, Texas as a commercial development representative for Shell.  He elected early retirement from Shell and returned to Wyoming in a marketing role with Eighty-Eight Oil.  With that experience and knowledge, Gregg moved to Plains Pipeline as a Manager of Business Development for the Rocky Mountain Division.

He has been developing and managing business since the formation of Cowboy Midstream, LLC in May of 2017.

Isaac Swanson

Mr. Isaac Swanson began his career in the oil & gas industry at Power Service, Inc. in 2003 after receiving a degree in Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, NE.  In early 2004, he joined Energy Equipment & Supply, Inc. and held various roles while there.

Isaac transitioned back to Power Service, Inc. in 2013 and was a Project Manager with an emphasis on large pump and compressor systems, LACT units, and metering skids.  He later took over the role of Applications Manager at the Casper branch, where all of the fabricated packages were being constructed.  During this time, Isaac worked with many of the major oil and gas companies in the United States, successfully managing projects whose end destinations extended from south Texas to North Dakota.

Isaac joined Cowboy Midstream, LLC in August of 2018.  Since that time, he has taken a key role in the continued development of Cowboy’s assets in the Powder River Basin.

Garth Ginder

Garth Ginder is a graduate of Hastings College in Nebraska where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History.

He started his career in the oil and gas industry at Power Service, Inc. as a Project Manager in the ASME pressure vessel production facility. He then worked at Emerson as an outside salesman specializing in Rosemount and Micromotion products in both North Dakota and Wyoming.

He Joined our team at Cowboy Midstream as Operations Manager in December of 2021.
